Crafted with Intention.
Layer by Layer.
Every piece you see at Nesmi starts not in a warehouse — but as an idea. Unlike mass-produced items, our products are made using a process called Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) — a form of 3D printing where an object is built up one layer at a time using plant-based plastic.
Think of it like sculpting in reverse — building up, instead of carving away.
What Makes 3D Printing Special?
- Zero excess: We only make what’s needed. No overstock, no waste.
- Custom-made for you: Your piece is printed only when you order it.?
- Design-first: From curves to textures, 3D printing lets us achieve subtle, clean forms that are hard to replicate in traditional molds.

What You Might Notice (And Why It’s Okay)
- Because our objects are printed in layers, some pieces may show
-
Fine lines or patterns on the surface (especially on curves or undersides)
-
Micro marks or textures on the bottom where it touches the print bed
-
Slight variations in finish depending on the shape and filament used
-
Fine lines or patterns on the surface (especially on curves or undersides)
- These are not defects. They are the fingerprints of the process — like brushstrokes in a painting. Each one adds character, and no two prints are exactly alike.
Our Material
We use renewably sourced PLA plastic, made from cornstarch and sugarcane. It’s strong, lightweight, and better for the environment than petroleum-based plastics.
We also test every filament for consistency in color and strength — but due to different batches or lighting, some colors may appear slightly different in person.
Why We Share This ?
At Nesmi, we believe in radical transparency. When you choose to shop here, you’re not just buying a product — you’re supporting a slower, more thoughtful way to bring objects into the world.
We’d rather show you everything — the beauty, the process, and the quirks — than pretend our products came from a factory line.
Have more questions?
Yes — small layer lines or surface textures are normal. They’re part of the 3D printing process and add to each piece’s uniqueness.
Absolutely. We use high-quality PLA that's strong enough for daily use and home decor, while being lightweight and eco-conscious.
Color may vary slightly due to screen settings, filament batch differences, or lighting — but we aim for consistency in every print.
Minor texture marks or lines are expected and not considered defects. If there’s serious damage, we’ve got you covered — just send us an unboxing video.
